CMV Group

Back in May of this year we at Hartex set out on our biggest workshop to date for none other than the CMV Group at their brand new state of the art dealership facility in Derrimut VIC. The home of Mack, Volvo and UD opened on the 7th August to much admiration and fanfare.

The facility in its entirety is 20,000 m2 in size and consists of administration offices, showrooms, parts warehouse, training facility, 100 workshop bays and 3 vehicle wash bays.

Our involvement in this gigantic project was extensive. We are proud to have provided the service pits, diagnostic equipment, lubrication systems, compressed air system and vehicle wash bays. The service pits are comprised of 4 x 26 metre long suspended ceiling workshop bays and are fitted out with the Hartex Jacking System, Travelling Work Platforms, Waste Oil & Coolant recovery system, diagnostic equipment & lubrication.

A lot of the equipment has been modified to suit the specific needs of CMV. The 8 travelling work platforms have been fitted with motorized units to make the lift and lowering of the platforms easier for the technicians.

The waste oil and coolant recovery systems have been fitted to the travelling work platforms complete with swing arms to position exactly where needed and move out of the way when not in use. The suspended ceiling deck itself has been designed and constructed with a removable hatch and winch so that the waste bins underneath the deck can be easily brought up to ground level for emptying.
